(NYSE: GTW) today announced the filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission of a resale registration statement on Form S-3 relating to $150 million of its 1.50% Senior Convertible Notes due 2009 and $150 million of its 2.00% Senior Convertible Notes due 2011 and the shares of Gateway common stock, par value $0.01 per share, issuable upon conversion of the notes. Gateway received approximately $291 million in proceeds from the initial sale of the notes, but will not receive any proceeds from the resale of the securities under the registration statement.
