Microsoft Corp. has begun dropping the prices of some of its flagship software products, starting with the Office XP family. The Redmond, Wash., software company on Wednesday will announce that it is cutting retail prices by between 15 percent and 30 percent on a number of products in its Office XP product family. Microsoft is cutting the retail price of both the Standard and Professional Office XP products by some 15 percent, while also dropping the price for stand-alone applications like Word 2002, Excel 2002, PowerPoint 2002 and Access 2002 by some 30 percent. Retail pricing before the cuts was $479 for the Office XP Standard Edition and $579 for the Professional Edition. The price reductions take effect Wednesday in the United States and Canada; they will also be rolled out globally.

There is a patch out for all you messenger fans, and it patches Messenger 6.0 (0250) to run all your games except bejewelled.
The Current patch if used with, the ad-remover patch might not work entirely which is where all you experts come in handy.

3DMark03 v3.3.0 is an updated version of 3DMark03. Hardware review sites discovered deliberate cheats in some drivers. These drivers identify 3DMark03 build 3.2.0, and render the tests differently than 3DMark03 instructs, in order to gain additional performance. Build 3.3.0 has been changed so that the test results remain the same, but the questionable drivers do not identify 3DMark03 anymore. The drivers now think 3DMark is a 3D application among others, and render the tests like 3DMark instructs. This produces a result that is genuinely comparable to other hardware. Advanced Registry Tracer (ART for short) is an utility designed for analysing the changes made to Windows Registry - by making the "snapshots" of it and keeping them in the browsable database. You can compare any two snapshots and get the list of keys/data which are new, deleted or just changed. ART can do comparing not only in the entire Regisrty, but also in any key of the Registry. It is also possible to exclude any keys of the Registry from compare results. Moreover, you can create undo/redo files (for example, to rollback the changes). To view the current state of a key, or to modify it, you can use Jump to Regedit function. Contents of any key can be exported to *.reg file.
